McDonald’s first place finish came at a time of 25:27, which was significant, as it was an all time personal record for the racer, as well as the fastest course time for a female.

Roger St. Jean was second place in the 16 km race, crossing the finish line at 26:22, with Richard Wood earning a third place finish at 26:26.

In the evening’s 8 km ride, Club member Tristin finished first at 22:33, while Barb Polehoykie earned second place, crossing the finish line only one second later with a time of 22:34.

This weekend, the Blizzard Bike Club will be holding its Club Championship road race Sunday, June 24, beginning at 10 a.m. from the Wood Corner on the Montney highway.
