They celebrated with stories, pictures, cake and a delicious BBQ to say good-bye to the place where their children were born,  where they lost loved ones, where they worked, or maybe even where they themselves were treated. Some described the anticipation of the new hospital as “bitter sweet,” in that they were leaving allot of memories behind with the old hospital but most said that they planned on keeping those memories alive through photos and stories. There was even talk of a potential time casual to be started after the opening of the new hospital, which would include photos and an autograph book from today’s event.
