The four day event will also put on display every top driver from the All Pro Chuckwagon & Chariot Association, the full line up from the Western Chuckwagon Association as well as the top performers from the World Professional Chuckwagon Association.

Over the three nights, the event will also feature a variety of fun-filled activities, including a barbeque, parade, outdoor saloon, a beer garden, the largest midway in north-western Alberta, and the crowning of a rodeo queen.

This year’s Stompede will unfold a little differently, as the first two days of the event will feature cowboy and cowgirl competition. The first competition will begin Wednesday at 5 p.m. with pony racing, which will be followed by the WCA and WPCA wagons.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, to rodeos will be taking place, beginning at 1 p.m. and wagon racing starting at 6 p.m.
