Dreher finished in fourth place following a 36-hole day, shooting a total of 153. Unfortunately, her score was not a high enough ranking to earn a spot at the LPGA US Open, as only the top two positions from the regional qualifier gained entrance.

As a result of her fourth place finish, Dreher will now be an alternate for the US Open tournament.

Qualifiers from the tournament advance to the 67th U.S. Women’s Open Championship, which will be held at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis., July 5-8.

First place in the qualifier went to Spain’s, Carlota Ciganda, who shot a total of 139.

Next up for Dreher is a trip to Galloway, New Jersey, where she will compete in the 2012 ShopRite LPGA Classic, played on the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club’s Bay Course.
