With 21 victories, Team BC is the most successful squad in the tournament’s 45-year history.

“We are definitely motivated to win six in a row. The opportunity doesn’t come along very often, and to do it on home soil, or home court with the Rick Hansen [Relay] and everything else going on, [in front of] friends and family, it’s a great thing and would be pretty special for us to do it,” said team BC’s Bo Hedges.

Hedges has noticed 33 points so far in the tournament.  His teammates Richard Peter  and Erik Hagreen sit tied for third in tournament scoring with 35 points each.

The best men’s provincial teams and the top women’s club teams from across the country are competing to decide National Champions and the stage is set for probable championship game preview when the British Columbia and Ontario men clash Saturday morning at 9:00 am PST – the final preliminary round match for both teams.
