This holiday season, all of our Supporters are entered to win an $800 Shopping Spree Giveaway!

On Friday, May 25, Taylor’s Lone Wolf Golf Club will be hosting the 11th annual Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Tournament, with one group of golfers having the unique opportunity to hit the course with 1989 Stanley Cup winning Lanny McDonald, thanks to Flint Energy Services. The nine-hole round with the former Calgary Flames forward will be awarded to the group who makes the largest bid in the charity events auction.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Ronald McDonald Houses of B.C. and Alberta, which support families who must travel for medical treatments of their sick children. Large numbers of Northern B.C. families use the services provided by these houses every year, which provide financial and mental support during emotionally straining times. The homes also provide children with a safe place to spend time and mingle with other children.
Last year’s decade anniversary of the tournament helped raise over $30,000 with the participation of 30 teams and organizers are hoping to exceed that amount this year. The charity event will include more than just an 18-hole round of golf; it will also feature a free brunch, a barbeque dinner, along with a variety of prizes to be handed out and won in a silent and live auction.
If interested in registering, call Amanda at 250-789-6581 or email Those looking to bid on an opportunity to hit the links with Lanny McDonald can email their bids to Bob at
