Like last year’s event, all proceeds raised from the event will go towards the “In Memory of Curtis Hadland Wheelchair Accessible Playground” at the Baldonnel School.
Along with a day of fun activities, the event will also be serving lunch and snacks to all in attendance.
There will also be a variety of door prizes and raffle items for people to bid on to help raise additional money for the Baldonnel playground.
The cost of the playground is over $165,000 and organizers are trying to reach a goal of $126,000 with the help of the fundraiser. If the fundraiser can raise $50,000 dollars, it will achieve its goal.
First prize for the raffle draw is a trip for four to the Spa in the Mountains. Second prize includes tickets to an Edmonton Oilers game next season including $500 cash. Third place is a BBQ package.
The event will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend. If interested in purchasing a table at the event or for more information, contact Michelle at 250-261-9623.
