Cherry, blueberry, cranberry and Saskatoon berry shrubs will be available, first come, first served.

The event will also include the annual North Peace Horticultural Society Plant sale, and will feature information on how to grow your own food safely and composting workshops. NEAT’s composting workshops will take place at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Residents will also have the opportunity to sign up for a plot in the community garden.

The event, hosted by Northern Health along with the North Peace Horticultural Society and Healthy Eating and Active Living, will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 12, 2012 at the North Peace Cultural Centre.
