Just before 10 a.m. this morning, a vehicle lost control in the slush and crossed over the line into oncoming traffic, and colliding head-on with another vehicle. All others involved escaped with minor injuries.
Highway 49 near the Pouce Coupe Bridge was closed for several hours after the collision, but has since reopened in both directions. The crash is under investigation, but RCMP don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
