Team members all gathered at the Dawson Creek Northern Lights College campus Tuesday morning, where they received team jackets and a warm send off before travelling south.

The Peace Region team consists of 20 competitors, including middle school, high school and post-secondary students. Competitors were selected based on their performances at the Peace Region competition held in March at the NLC and Dawson Creek Secondary School.

Competitors have been divided into three categories, the Junior Division, Secondary Division and Pose-Secondary division, each consisting of unique trade competitions.

Members of the Peace Region team and their events include:

Junior Division

· Spaghetti Bridge: McKayla Dawson, Leah Thomson, Nathan Harris, Rachel McPhail
· Gravity Cars: Jarrod Krane, Keatton Tiernan

Secondary Division
· TV/Video Production: Bryan VanGenne, William MacElheren
