The celebration will include the opportunity to socialize over cups of Chinese Tea, as well as a Tai Chi demonstration.

2012 is proclaimed the Year of the Black Water Dragon, which began on Jan.23, 2012 and runs until Feb.9, 2013. The rare Water Dragon year only takes place every 60 years.

According to Chinese customs, dragon years are notable for major change, sometimes including disaster. However, the year of Water Dragon is known to be tempered with wisdom and sensitivity.

The celebration will be taking place at the Ambrose School gym from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
