Based on the Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie, Annie is set in the 1930’s and centers on an eleven year-old who was left on the steps of the Municipal Girls Orphanage in New York City by her parents. Joined by the child-hating, alcoholic orphanage matron Miss Hannigan, billionaire “Daddy” Warbucks, and her fellow orphans, follow Annie or her journey to finding a new home, with more than a few hi-jinks along the way.

Annie and her stray dog Sandy will take the stage at the Cultural Centre January 12 – 14 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available from the box office, by phone at 250-785-1992 and online. Tickets for adults costs $13, $11 for students and seniors, and $9 for children.
