The 18 km road race resulted in an exciting four rider sprint finish, which had Darren Guliov cross the finish line first with a time of 39 minutes and 54 seconds.
Despite fierce head and side winds, Guliov, who trailed for the majority of the race, timed his finish to perfection, passing Irvin Tang, Gord Harris and Pat Ferris for the first place results.
Following the mid-winter race, club members will now put their bikes back into storage, hang up their racing suites and wait until March 4, the next scheduled race for the local bike club.
