Fort St. John also recorded year-over-year increases with sales up, to 773 properties in 2011, as compared to 654 in 2010 and total values up, to just over $223 million, from just over $178 million.
At $323,608, the December 31st average selling price of a single family residential property in this city, again topped the 15 community list, and was up nearly $6000 from the end of the previous year.
At $314,590, Fort Nelson was the only other community over three hundred thousand, with Mackenzie still at the bottom of the list, but up more than $20,000, to $110,459.
