The Prince George hearing is set for Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. at the downtown Ramada Hotel.
There will then be six days of hearings in Edmonton, beginning on Jan. 24, each starting at 9 a.m. at the Wingate Inn, Edmonton West Hotel.
However, it will be 2 months later before the Grande Prairie hearings will be held at the Quality Hotel and Conference Hall. They’re scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 26, and then 9am on March 27th and 28th.
The panel has also determined that due to heavy registration, it will be visiting some communities more than once and both Grande Prairie and Prince George are on the repeat visit list.
The proposed project of Calgary based Enbridge Incorporated involves construction of twin pipelines, of one thousand 177 kilometers each.
The westerly flow will carry a daily average of 525 thousand barrels of Alberta Oil Sands petroleum from Bruderheim, northeast of Edmonton, to a new Kitimat marine terminal.
The easterly flow will carry a daily average of 193 thousand barrels of condensate, used to thin petroleum products for pipeline transport in the opposite direction.
