As a result, employees had to manually operate the cooling system in order to keep the facility up and running.
The solution to the minor problem requires the ordering of the part, which already has been done, and is expected to arrive and be installed this Friday.
Despite operating the cooling system manually, the arena suffered minor setbacks and the ice rink is open for public use.
Luckily the problem was caught before it resulted in a major issue, as the facility has a busy upcoming few months, with hockey tournament season quickly approaching, and speed skating competitions to be held at the complex.
