Part of a slew of holiday donation campaigns, this will help the Fort St. John Salvation Army reach its fundraising goal of $200,000 for the season.

This year the Salvation Army’s Operation: Christmas of Compassion 2011 Campaign has raised a significant amount of money, receiving approximately $161,000 in donations.

A portion of that total has come from the Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign, which has helped raise close to $71,000 this holiday season.

In addition, today only, Walmart is also matching all donations made to the Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign. All donations made up to $100,000 Canada-wide will be matched by the company.
