Firefighters responded to the fire around 10:10 Tuesday evening, and say luckily the only family member home was the dog, who escaped safely. The Fire Department is currently investigating the fire, along with RCMP.

The residents are now staying with friends, after losing everything to the fire.

On a local news website, a woman has offered to accept and deliver donations to help them get back to their feet. Clothing and personal items can be brought to 9019 – 90 Street.

A friend of the owner is also accepting donations. He can be reached at stevenscraig2@gmail.com.

According to his girlfriend, the male of the house is apparently a size medium and wears a size 32 pant. We will update as we hear more about donation possibilities.
