The Broadway musical debuted in 1967 with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. The show will run for three nights, as well as a Saturday matinee on New Year’s Eve.

Directed by Fort St. John’s Chalene Scott, the musical boasts a small cast, including two Moose FM and staff members. Zac Scott plays Charlie Brown, the lovable loser on the quest to find out if he really is a “good man” and his easy-going younger sister Sally is played by Melanie Truscott. Forever attached to his blanket and sucking his thumb, the character of Linus is played by Cody MacGillivray while bossy, manipulative older sister Lucy is played by Erica Fisher. Ted Sloan plays the Beethoven obsessed Schroeder, and Jeremy Comte rounds out the team as the dramatic and ever-hungry Snoopy.

The show opens Thursday, December 29 and runs Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. A special matinee will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday and a family-friendly New Year’s Eve Party will be held after the final show on December 31.

Tickets are available online at or at the North Peace Cultural Centre Box office 250-785-1992.
