The documentary “The Pig Farm” will be shown tonight, December 6, at the Lido Theatre as part of an annual series of documentary films that showcase women’s stories and issues. “The Pig Farm” is a documentary that takes an in-depth look at serial killer Robert Pickton, and the investigation of his crimes.

In addition to talking to police, his acquaintances and employees, the film also contains Pickton’s voice, and a first-hand account from the woman who got away.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the film starts at 7:30. Admission is by donation to the FSJ Women’s Resource Centre. As the film deals with mature subject matter, it is appropriate for audiences over 15 year-old.
