On Friday, Dec.2, the Rams took on the 13 ranked Oregon Ducks, for their first match of the national tournament.

Cranston and her fellow Rams showed the world they can compete with the nation’s best, eliminating Oregon in five sets (24-26, 25-21, 25-21, 15-25, 15-10).

Cranston, a junior on the team, had ten kills in Thursday night’s match.

After securing the tournament opening victory, the Rams will now advance to Friday’s regional quarterfinal against either Northern Colorado or host and No. 10 seed Hawaii.

Friday’s match will be played at 10 p.m. MST and can be heard through the school’s live broadcast.
