Single-vehicle rollover on Highway 29

RCMP say weather was a factor in the accident and is reminding drivers to slow down. The male driver was taken to the Fort St. John hospital with minor injuries.

As it snowed overnight in Fort St. John, drivers are reminded to leave extra time to get to their destination and wear a seatbelt. During times of inclement weather it is important to slow down, and leave extra space between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Drivers should also always have an emergency kit in their car, which includes: blankets, shovel, matches, booster cables, reflective warning sign/road flares, flashlight, extra clothing and footwear, emergency food supplies, candle in a deep tin, and a first aid kit.
