RCMP look for vehicle after it hit fire hydrant

On November 20, the RCMP responded to a hit and run on the corner of 100 avenue and 96 street after a truck hit a fire hydrant, knocking it off its base and finally coming to a rest against a light post.

The driver is believed to be a while male in his twenties and was last seen driving northbound on 96 street away from the scene.  Police believe the incident occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 20.
