Rage start three game series in Alaska

The first 20 minutes of play saw Alaska score the only goal (power play). It was a fast paced period and pretty well even in the shot department as Dawson Creek outshot Alaska 9-8.

The second period had Dawson Creek start shorthanded and Alaska made no mistake with their second power play goal of the game. The Rage started pressing hard but were unable to get on the board. The Avalanche were able to make it 3-0 as the second period came to an end.

The final period had the Rage taking full control of the hockey game. The visiting team was showing signs of a possible comeback, with numerous scoring chances and shots. The Avalanche would score an empty netter making it a 4-0 hockey game. The Rage fought till the end but were unable to solve the Alaska goaltender. The final score remained 4-0 in favor of the Av’s.

The Rage will play the Avalanche again tonight.
