In the first period it was all Fairbanks as the team scored three goals to lead 3-0 after the first.  The in the second, the Ryan Matthews of the Rage was able to score a goal only 38 seconds into the period on a penalty shot, but after that it was all Fairbanks.  The Ice Dogs lead 5-1 after the second.

In the third period, the Rage tried to bounce back scoring two goals, one from Shawn Mueller and the other from Ryan Matthews on the power play.  That wasn’t enough as the Ice Dogs scored one more time to give the game a final score of 6-3.
