This holiday season, all of our Supporters are entered to win an $800 Shopping Spree Giveaway!

 

Signals were added to the intersection, and include an emergency vehicle pre-empt at the lights due to the proximity of fire, police and ambulance services nearby. The intersection was also realigned on the north and south side of 13th Street and Alaska Avenue.

The project was a partnership between the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the City of Dawson Creek, each contributing half of the $600,000 project costs.

This project is part of the more than $54 million the Province has invested in highway and road improvement projects in the South Peace in 2011-12, including more than $19 million funded through the Oil and Gas Rural Road Improvement Program.
