Members of the Fort St. John Crime Reduction Unit along with members from the Drug Section and Regional General Investigation Section, completed an intelligence lead investigation into a known crack cocaine dealer in Fort St. John.

On Friday November 18, a search warrant was executed at a local residence and resulted in charges against one locale male with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.  He has been held in custody pending his first court appearance on Monday.

Charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking are also being sought against a second male, who has been released by police pending a future court appearance.

The names of both males will not be released at this time, while the RCMP continue their investigation.
