Environment Canada says that we could see another 10 cm on top of the snow we already received overnight. Here is the official statement from Environment Canada:
An additional 10 cm of snow expected today for the Elk Valley mainly near Fernie and British Columbia Peace River regions.

A low pressure system crossing the British Columbia interior today continues to bring significant snow to sections of the British Columbia interior. An additional 5 cm of snow is expected for the Columbias and most of the Kootenays early this morning. Meanwhile Elk Valley mainly near Fernie and the British Columbia Peace River regions can expect an additional 10 cm before the snow tapers off this afternoon as the low weakens.
