Environment Canada is still calling for another 5cm of snow Thursday night before the storm moves out of the region.  That means we could get a storm total of close to 34cm, and that would be more than the current one day November record of 24cm, set in 1996.

The all time one day record for snowfall in Fort St. John was set on May 22 of 1960, when the community received 47.8 cm of snow.

The snowfall warning remains throughout the Peace region and motorists are advised not to travel on many roads in the Peace.
