Support Fort St John News

Police state a 22 year-old male received a non life threatening stab wound to his lower body.  The male was transported to the Fort St. John Hospital where he has been treated for the injury and released.

The RCMP are still investigating the incident, but have determined that the suspect and the victim knew each other prior to the incident and that alcohol appears to be a factor in this assault.

The suspect fled the scene and the RCMP are still search for the male suspect.  At this time, the RCMP will be seeking a warrant for this individual if they can’t locate him in the immediate future.

At this time, the RCMP cannot release the name of the male suspect.
