Deputy Commissioner Dale McGowan, Commanding Officer of “K” Division, says the results of that review will determine what the RCMP do next. Any subsequent investigation will happen locally.
In order to protect the integrity of that investigation, McGowan says the findings of the report will not be publicized. He adds there is no estimate of how long the investigation will take.
