BizPaL launched in Dawson Creek

BizPaL is a service that is intended to save entrepreneurs time on paperwork and help them start up faster by providing simplified access to information. It compiles a list of the necessary permits and licenses needed on a municipal, provincial and federal level.

BizPaL is currently active in eleven provinces and territories, including over 600 municipalities. Forty B.C. municipalities now have access to this service, bringing the provincial total to 98. These include Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Hudson's Hope, Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge.

Pat Bell says, "Creating jobs is the B.C. government's number-one priority, as laid out in our jobs plan, 'Canada Starts Here'. BizPaL is a fast, effective tool that allows existing and new businesses to spend less time filling out
forms and more time innovating, expanding and ultimately, creating jobs
for B.C. families."
