Blizzard Bike Club wraps up season

On Sunday, Oct. 30, the Club raced its Blizzard Bike Club Championship Cyclo Cross Race, with Kevin Shaw placing first in the race.

With pleasant racing conditions, Shaw finished the five-lap race with a time of 46 minutes. Pat Ferris would cross the finish line 2:55 later for a second place finish, and Roger St. Jean would earn third with a time of 49 minutes.

Now the bike club will have to sit patiently and wait for spring, as this was the final race of the season.

Saturday evening, the club also held its 29th annual awards banquet at the Quality Inn Northern Grand Hotel.
