The Wolverines came out big in the first period scoring four goals. The Huskies scored one goal in the second and that was scored by Robbie Sidhu, but that wasn’t enough as the Wolverines had already scored two more by the time Sidhu had scored. The score after two periods was 6-1.
In the third, the Huskies were able to score one more time off a shot from Dave Marshell about 15 minutes into the period.
That would be it for the scoring from either time and the game ended with a final score of 6-2 for the Wolverines. The Huskies and Wolverines will face off again Sunday afternoon in Whitecourt.
