Some team members are not originally from Fort St. John and will need a place to stay throughout the 2011-2012 season.
Billeting a player will come with some perks. The billeting home will receive $450 per month to help alleviate the cost of housing a player. The home will also receive Huskies season tickets for the entire family.
If the billeting family has any children in minor hockey, the team will also set up a skate with the players for the minor league team.
The billeted players will also give back to the community in a variety of ways, including joining elementary school classes on the ice when they take field trips to play hockey.
