Opening act announced for Godsmack show

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, a Florida-based rock band, will open the show, touring behind their latest studio album, “Am I the Enemy,” which includes the singles “Reap” and “Don’t Lose Hope.” The band formed in 2003 and released their debut, self-titled album the next year, and have gone on to sell nearly 2 million copies of their first two albums.

Besides rocking hard, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is known to support a number of charitable causes and have played concerts for United States military service members.

The band will be touring this summer with Godsmack, a band that deserves a lot of credit for bringing hard rock music into the mainstream since they released their debut, self-titled album in 1998. The band has spawned massive hit singles like “Keep Away,” “Whatever,” and “Awake,” and are currently touring behind their third, full-length studio album, “The Oracle,” which includes the hit single, “Whisky Hangover.”

The band has toured with the likes of heavy metal legends Black Sabbath and Motley Crue, boasts three consecutive albums that reached number one on the Billboard 200, and has 19 Top-Ten rock radio hits, including 15 songs in the Top Five, a record number of Top-Ten singles by a rock artist.

Tickets to the show are still available through the Tiger Box Office Plus or Dawson Co-op High Performance Ticket Outlet, or by phoning 1-877-339-TIXX (8499), or going online to www.dawsonco-optickets.com.
