The two day long Petron Communications Charity Pro-Am golf tournament has officially concluded.

The tournament, which was held at Lakepoint Golf and Country Club, featured both a Team and Professional category, over a two-day, 36-hole tournament.

Alaska Hi-way Auto Body, comprised of amateurs Rex Strongsmoe, Wayne Kelly, Reg Marshall, Don Hoffmeyer and pro Bryn Perry finished in first place with a total of 352 points in the team event .

Second place went to Par-Tee Time, made up of amateurs Jeremy Clothier, Tamara Pearson, Jody Thomas, Koyne Kursteiner and pro Josh Taylor. The team finished with 346 points.

Team Jamie Lock Photography finished in third place with 342 points. The team was comprised of amateurs Brent Lock, Jamie Crawford, Robin DeRose, Justin McKinnon and pro Andrew Johnson.

In the professional event, Hazelmere Golf Club’s Greg McAuley placed first, with a final score of 137. McAuley, a Cloverdale B.C. native, shot a 68 during round one and a 69 in the final round at seven under par. For top honours, McAuley earned himself a $5,000 cash prize.

Pros Thomas Hay and Andrew Johnson would finish the tournament tied for second, each leaving the country club $2,750 richer. Both men would finish with scores of 141, three under par.
