More rain in the forecast for South Peace region

Environment Canada is forecasting another low pressure system through the Interior of British Columbia which may develop additional moisture over the Peace region. Rainfall amounts of 15 to 25 millimetres are expected today and through to tomorrow, with the potential for higher amounts in localized areas.

The BC River Forecast Centre is reporting rainfall has eased in the Peace and river levels have been dropping throughout the region since Sunday or Monday, with most rivers now below levels of concern. However, a high streamflow advisory remains in effect for the South Peace, and river levels are expected to have a moderate rise Thursday and Friday in response to this rainfall.
