The preliminary hearing, for one of the two people accused in a Fort St. John stabbing death, which occurred more than a year ago, is scheduled to begin today.

31 year old Andre Paul Dupas a convicted drug dealer, has been charged in the murder of 28 year old Joshua James Lequiere.

Like his alleged victim, the suspect is a Fort St. John resident, and so is 28 year old Pamela Joy Moore, who was charged with being an accesory after the fact, after she voluntarilty surrendered to police.

Police investigating the incident, which occurred on May 20th of last year, have stated they believe it was a targeted attack.

The victim died in hospital after being found by police in a pickup in an East end apartment parking lot.

Dupas is well known to police, right across the province, and has also been the subject of several other charges including those that went to drug possession and trafficking.
