Fort St. John native Dennis Robertson has been drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Robertson was selected 173rd overall by the Leafs. The defenseman just finished his first year with the Brown Bears of the NCAA. Before the Brown Bears, Robertson spent two seasons with the Langley Chiefs of the BCHL and a season with the Summerland Sting Junior B team.

A Second Team All-Ivy and ECAC Hockey All-Rookie selection in 2011, Robertson developed into one of the Bears’ most reliable defensemen during his rookie campaign, playing in 30 of 31 games.
