UPDATE #1 – Power has been restored to half the customers that were affected earlier today.  The rest, about 220 customers should have their power restored by 5 p.m.

 

Power is out to a large area north of Fort St. John.

Shortly after 11 a.m., Sunday, Buick Creek, Prespatou and the Blueberry First Nations lost power. The outage should be restored by 4 p.m. As of right now, the outage is listed as being caused by a downed power line.

Hydro says about 488 customers are affected north-east-west of Loop road and south of road 196.
