The term “one person’s junk is another’s treasure” is about to apply to Fort St. John.

Taking place from Friday June 17, until Sunday June 19, the Northern Environmental Action Team -NEAT-  will be putting on the Fort St. John Kick-it-to-the-Curb Event.

The weekend long event is a city-wide swap meet, where residents are encouraged to place unwanted items on their curb for others to take. It’s a great opportunity for unwanted items to be put to use and for people to make donations without the hassle of transportation.

NEAT will be helping out with the event by providing the opportunity for people to post their available “goodies” through their Facebook and Twitter pages.

NEAT is also requesting that any items not taken from one’s curb to please be removed by Sunday evening.

For more information on the event or to post your available items, please visit the NEAT website or contact them via telephone at 250-785-6328
