This 49th annual Oilmen’s Golf Tournament has officially concluded.

The eventful tournament, which took place at Lakepoint Golf and Country Club, experienced rain, sleet, sun and even snow. Although, the weather did not deter participants from hitting the course and everyone involved seemed to enjoy the weekend festivities.

In the Championship flight, tournament favourite Travis Eggers emerged victorious, defeating Don Basnett in their final matchup.

In the first flight, sponsored by Weatherford, the final matchup included Kirk Ward and Bill Miller. Miller would beat Ward to take the first flight.

In the second flight, Troy Dorie squared off against Ray Beaulieu in the finals, with Dorie winning the flight.

Saturday evening, the tournament will host an annual banquet dinner at the Fort St. John Curling Club, signifying the conclusion of the tournament.

Next year, the tournament will be celebrating its’ 50th anniversary.
