River levels have stabilized in the B.C. Peace region over the last week.
There is still a flood watch in effect for the Moberly River and Moberly Lake area, but the B.C. River Forecast Centre says water levels have been receding.
Water levels crested in the Moberly Thursday and the Centre believes things should improve in the coming days.
With warm weather in the forecast, the snow pack melt rate should increase, but at this time there are no areas in the Peace of specific concern.
Residents should still be careful around rivers and creeks with fast moving water.
