Fort St. John RCMP is investigating their second fatal motor vehicle collision in less than one week.

On May 18, shortly before 1 p.m. RCMP were called to a motor vehicle collision at the 9200 block of 78A St. Upon arrival, police discovered a collision involving a two year old girl who had been struck by a vehicle backing in the driveway.

B.C. ambulance transported the victim to the hospital, but she unfortunately passed away as a result from her injuries. The vehicle was being driven by a family member.

The Fort St. John RCMP is continuing their investigation into the incident and is seeking additional eye witnesses. Any information on the incident should be given to the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140.
