Git-Along horse club beginning summer series

 

With the summer season rapidly approaching, the Git-Along Horse Club is preparing for its "Spring Bust Out."

Beginning Saturday May 28, the Club will start its gymkana summer series, taking place at the Harris Arena in Charlie Lake.

The event will include a variety of activities for all ages, levels and disciplines of horses and riders. Some of those activities include riders and their horses being able to run barrels and poles, as well as other fun gymkana games.

The day’s events only costs $5, with an optional draw available, where people can win barrels, poles and cash.

Participants are asked to bring their own horses, lunches and lawn chairs for the fun-filled day outside.

If unable to attend the season opener, the summer series begins Wednesday, June 1 and will be running every other Wednesday evening. The summer series dates include June 1, 15 and 29, July 13 and 27, August 10 and 24 and September 7 and 21.
