The City of Fort St. John is offering you the chance to come out and be active on Tuesday, May 10, 2011! They have lots of events and challenges going on through out the day giving you and your family the opportunity to get involved.
Events on May 10th
Walk With Frozen John
Location: Northern Lights College
Time: 6:00-7:00am
Meet at Northern Lights College for a morning walk or run with Frozen John. Any participants in the Walk to Anchorage, Alaska Corporate Challenge can log and double the distance traveled. All participants will be entered in a draw to win a healthy lunch for 10 people.
Grandparent and Tot Walk With Frozen John
Location: North Vac Track at Pomeroy Sport Centre
Time: 9:30-10:00am
Grandparents and tots are welcome to hit the track with Frozen John. There will be balloons and Frozen John toys for the tots to take home.
Media Challenge
Location: Centennial Park
Time: 12:10pm
Representatives from the media will compete in four different events in Centennial Park during the lunch hour. The team with the most points will win a trophy and bragging rights.
Walking Track Challenge Initiative
Location: North Vac Track at the Pomeroy Sport Centre
Time: 6:00am-9:00pm
Any participants in the Walk to Anchorage, Alaska Corporate Challenge who visit the North Vac Track during the day can double the distance that they traveled. See Track Attendant for more information.
Jazzercise
Location: Dr. Kearney School
Time: 6:30pm

A fun, fast-paced dance fitness class that is bound to get your heart pumping. This FREE class will be held in the gym at Dr. Kearney Middle School. Please bring yoga mat, waterbottle and 5 lb. dumbbells.

Location: Sacred Space Studio
Time: 7:00pm
