With Bluey Days less than a month away, the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation still requires more volunteers to shave it all off.
The fundraiser asks volunteers to sign up to shave their heads at the May 28 event as well as to help raise money for the fight against cancer. The goal of this year’s event is to have 100 volunteers shave their heads. Currently, only 58 people have so far signed up.
This year’s fundraising goal is to raise $100,000 with funds raised going towards a new mammography machine for the new Fort. St. John Hospital. Just one of these machines costs roughly $700,000.
If interested in volunteering or making a donation, please contact the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation at 250-262-5299 or visit their website.
