Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort St. John held the 20th annual Bowl for Kids Sake Sunday afternoon.
Despite having a big drop in bowlers for 2011, the agency was able to raise just under their goal of $25,000. The total raised by bowlers and through corporate donations came to $24,301.47.
The Rona team raised the most with just over $1,500 and Miss Dawn from that team raising the most individually at over $1,100. For her efforts Central Mountain Air has given her flights for two anywhere CMA flies.
Bowl for Kids Sake in Dawson Creek was held Saturday afternoon with over $5,500 raised for operations in that community.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort St. John would like to thank all the bowlers and sponsors for making this event such a success. A big thank you goes out to the staff at Fort Bowling Lanes for all their help.
