Upper Halfway School recently received a $4,500 donation from Talisman Energy.

The cheque was presented on Friday and will support the purchase of musical instruments for a new program for grades K-7.

The funds will also be used for sports equipment. Since the school doesn’t have a gymnasium, students use an outdoor rink and there is a big need for more protective equipment.
